Locked in That One Moment Forever: The Abandoned Cabin in the Woods

Just west of Colorado Springs, there is a charming little town called Green Mountain Falls. It sits near the base of a difficult but charming trail that eventually arrives at Pikes Peak. There are many old cabins up there; most have been remodeled over the years, but they forgot one.

This cabin sits along the road to the trail. It is virtually untouched, save for a (very) forgiving nature that didn't collapse the roof or coax down the hill to its imminent destruction.

It is rare to find a place in the condition in which it was abandoned; this old cabin was a rare treasure.
