Biritsh museum is one for most visited tourist place in London. If you are in London, you should definitely spare some time to visit one of the best museum in he world. I am talking about London's British museum. British museum is one for the biggest museum in the world and consist of huge number of artifacts which are rare to find in other part of the world.

It gives you a unique and education tour of world history and rich cultural diversity.It was founded in 1753 from the collections of Sir Hans Sloane. Some of world famous artifacts include the Rosetta Stone, sculptures from the Parthenon, the Sutton Hoo and Mildenhall treasures and the Portland Vase. Admission is free on all days from 10:00 AM to 17:30 hrs. However to see various exhibitions, you need to be a member for which you need to pay annual fee or buy a ticket. If world class paintings excites you the you should definitely visit National Art Gallery. National Gallery shows Western European painting from as early as 1250 to late 1900. You can see world class paintings by Botticelli, Leonardo da Vinci, Rembrandt, Gainsborough, Turner, Renoir, Cezanne and Van Gogh. There are special exhibitions, lectures, video and audio-visual programmes, guided tours and holiday events for children and adults.
