It's a known fact the Mr. Toad's Wild Ride closed at the Magic Kingdom in September of 1998 to make way for The Many Adventures of Winnie The Pooh, but did you know there's actually 2 tributes to him that still remain in the park?

He's featured in the Pet Cemetary right outside the Haunted Mansion (pictured above) and there's a picture of him handing over the deed to Owl in The Many Adventures of Winnie The Pooh attraction. To see the picture simply look to your left right as you enter Owl's house in the attraction!

Originally Mr. Toad's Wild Ride opened in 1971 as one of the Magic Kingdom and Walt Disney World's opening attractions. The ride was quite different though from its Disneyland sister. The ride featured two seperate boarding areas that gave guests two different versions to enjoy the ride! The ride featured many different effects such as going full speed at objects with them ducking out of the way just in time, and even featured you heading straight on towards riders of the other side of the attraction, making you feel as if you were headed for a collision.

When it was announced the ride would be closing, we saw an uproar from Disney Fans who organized many protests trying to keep the attraction but all ended futile as the ride did close. But to make sure that the Mr. Toad fans could still have a bit of him the park, Disney did make sure that these two hidden gems were placed in the park. Be sure to look for them next time you're walking around the Magic Kingdom!
