Morocco : The Jewel of Africa

The Kingdom of Morocco is one of the most beautiful countries in the world. Its cultural diversity and extraordinary geography make it the jewel of Africa. Situated at the northwest of the continent, it is an important destination for tourists and adventurers. With the Mediterranean and Gibraltar Straits to the north and Atlantic to the west, water has shaped this land while the rugged Atlas Mountains gave Morocco its character.

In fact, the south of Morocco has several attractive beaches. There is Lagzira beach in Mirleft near to Agadir city. It is the undisputed paradisiacal beach in Morocco. The pureness of its seawater and the exceptional sands of this beach makes it a captivating destination that attracts tens of thousands of visitors every year.

Not far from Mirleft, there is Dakhla beach that represents an attractive spot for those who adore aquatic sports.it has famous wages; that make professionals and amateurs of surfing, windsurfing, and kitesurfing, enjoy their residence in this city especially during Foum Labouir Race, which takes place every November.

In addition to that, Morocco is a known place for mountain tourism. Indeed, the Atlas Mountains forms the biggest mountain chain in North Africa and Middle East. It penetrates a great surface of Moroccan territory. In its southwest, hundreds of climbers come every year trying to climb Toubkal Mountain (The highest mountain in the region). Besides, there is Oukaimeden place, which is located near to Marrakech. It offers the best skiing in Morocco all over the year.

No matter where you visit in Morocco, you will not be disappointed. It has something for everyone;espicially with its notoriety as the stablest country in the region before, during and after the Arab Spring.
