A city can be remembered and recognized by its skyline, since no two skylines are the same. Some of the most beautiful city skylines in the world are more familiar than others because of a substantial structure or building such as the Eiffel Tower in Paris, or the famous Burj Khalifa in Dubai.

10. New York City, NY

New York City has one of the most distinct, condensed, and diverse skylines in the world. From the overpowering New York skyscrapers, you can see the gorgeous views of New York and beyond, which explains why it's the most photographed skyline of all time. The remarkable stately structures such as the Chrysler building, the Bank of America Tower, Wall Street, Conde Nast building (aka Empire State Building), and the New York Times building, are what define the New York skyline.

9. Dubai, United Arab Emirates

In the middle of the Arabian desert, situated alongside the Persian Gulf, emerges this magnificent city of unique modern architecture and engineering of skyscrapers soaring above the clouds and into the sky. Only a few cities in the world can compete with Burj Khalifa, which is half a mile high and the tallest structure on earth so far and is also two times the height of the Empire State Building.

Singapore is a modern architectural city with the cleanest metropolitan area in the world. The skyline is completely illuminated with colourful lights reflecting in the surrounding waters that make this one of the most alluring city skylines in the world. The Marina Bay Sands, which is the most expensive building in the world costing $5.7 billion, transformed its skyline into this glowing wonder.

A major inland American city, Dallas is home to seven buildings over 200 meters high as well as the Reunion Tower that carries this huge sphere of light, make up this amazing skyline of bright illumination at night.
