Delaware is located in the Northwestern region of the United States, and is the second smallest state in the United States. Delaware varies in temperature due to the ocean, but is usually humid during the summertime, and extremely cold and snowy during the wintertime. Delaware is a very popular state to visit while on vacation, and i am going to talk about some of the most popular tourist attractions within Delaware.

Delaware Museum Of Natural History

Russell W. Peterson Urban Wildlife Refuge

The Russell W. Urban Wildlife Refuge is located in the Southwestern region of Delaware, and is named after the former governor of Delaware (Russell Petersen). The Russell W. Lums Pond State Park

Lums Pond State Park has several beautiful scenic trails you can walk along, and surrounds the massive park by Lums Pond the biggest fresh water pond in Delaware. Nassau Valley Vineyard

Newark Reservoir

Newark Reservoir is located in Northern region of Delaware, and has the most amazing scenery in the world. Newark Reservoir has a paved trail you can walk along, and is a great tourist attraction for all those people who love great views, Newark Reservoir holds several different events throughout the year, and has over one hundred and ten acres of land.

Pea Patch Island

Pea Patch Island is located one mile into the Delaware River, and you can take the ever so popular ferry. Pea Patch Island used to be a military base in the old days, but as times got better it was reconstructed into a state park, that is now known as Fort Delaware state park. Pea Patch Island is a great tourist attraction for the entire family, and the great views are definitely a bonus.

As i said above Delaware is a very small state, but the tourist attractions are endless. Delaware is a great vacation spot for the entire family, and is one that will never be forgotten. Delaware is the home to many beaches, museums, art galleries, malls, etc. The adventures are endless. Delaware offers many tours throughout the state including walking tours, and even boating tours as well. There are millions of people from all over the world come to Delaware for the vacation of there dreams.
