A Disney Vacation

For most kids, Disney is a dream vacation. For most parents, it's a bit daunting. Not just because of the expense, but purely from a logistical stand-point. Let's face it, "The Mouse House" and all it's sister parks are a bit more than overwhelming; however, with planning, a 2019 Disney vacation can mean a lifetime of memories for your family!

New in the Mouse House in 2019

Changes are coming to Walt Disney World in 2019. Here's a brief look at what you can expect:

  • A new song and dance celebration known as “Move It! Shake It! MousekeDance It! Street Party” will be taking place in front of Cinderella Castle. It will feature Mickey, Minnie and a cast of characters along with live singers who will be performing new arrangements of classic “Mickey Mouse Club” songs.
  • Also new for 2019 at Disney’s Hollywood Studios® is the addition of The Incredibles and Pixar Avenue is throwing a party to celebrate.
  • Speaking of parties, "The Lion King" turns 25 in 2019, and in true Disney spirit a celebration is being planned. Look for the brand new “Hakuna Matata Time Dance Party” on Discovery Island in Disney’s Animal Kingdom®

Disney Dining Plans

By adding a Disney Dining Plan, you can make your family vacation truly all-inclusive

Disney Dining Plan

Granted this option is not for everyone. It is a bit overpriced, and you may not require all the food that is included with the dining package, however, if you're staying at a Disney Resort and truly want to make your vacation all-inclusive, it's hard to beat (especially now that alcoholic drinks* are part of the package!)

There are three different dining plans for Disney Resort resort guests:

  • Quick Service $52.49 per adult per night/$21.75 per child (ages 3 to 9) per night**
  • Standard Service $75.49 per adult per night/$25.80 per child (ages 3 to 9) per night**
  • Deluxe Service $116.24 per adult per night/$39.90 per child (ages 3 to 9) per night**

*Limited to one alcoholic beverage per meal service

**Based on 2018 pricing
