Nigerian e-Passport Application Requirements for Adults

The Nigerian e-Passport Application Process for an Adult is very straight forward.

By the virtue of the Document Requirements, a Nigerian Adult must certify to the Nigeria Immigration Services that they meet all the requirements as set out for the Processing of a Nigerian e-Passport Application.

In order to fully process a Nigerian E-Passport for an Adult Nigerian, the following Requirements must be met.

  • Nigerian e-Passport Appointment slip (check your Embassy or Consulate website in your area of domicile)
  • Complete SIGNED e-Passport Online Application Form (Please check all fields for any errors).
  • Nigerian e-passport Application Payment slip.
  • Nigerian e-passport Application Acknowledgement Slip.
  • Two (2) passport photos of the applicant.
  • Photocopy of the (old) Nigerian MRP Passport data page
  • (Please include photocopy of ANY OBSERVATION Page.)
  • Photocopy of applicant’s Birth Certificate or Age Declaration.
  • Guarantor’s form {Duly SIGNED & STAMPED by a Notary Lawyer/Commissioner of OATHS}
  • Photocopy of Nigerian Passport data page of the Guarantor.
  • One passport photo of Guarantor.
  • Photocopy of a Utility Bill (as proof of address)
  • Administrative charges (dependent on the Embassy – Please contact your Nigerian Embassy/Consulate in your Country of domicile for more information).

It is very important that you crosscheck all the entries on the Nigerian e-Passport Application form before submitting it.

You may not have the privilege of editing the e-Passport Application Form once you submit it.

Remember that all Nigerian e-Passport Application must be from the Nigeria Immigration Service Website.
