Nightlife at Tokyo Nightclubs

The Japanese are well-known for being very hard workers who are devoted to their jobs. However, lesser known is the fact that they also enjoy partying. This is why nightlife in Tokyo is very much alive.

If you are on the lookout for nightclubs in Tokyo, there are many to choose from. You will have no dearth of choices regarding where to go after working so hard. And as Tokyo is a city that is hardly ever sleeping, you can be sure to find clubs to hang out in whether it is early morning, early evening or late at night.

Top Tokyo Night Clubs

1. Ageha

Located in the Shin Kiba area of Tokyo, the Ageha is part of the Studio Coast multi-purpose complex. The capacity of the whole club is close to 4,000 people. There are pools, bars, dance floors, Jacuzzis and beach arena. It is the best place to go to enjoy Trance, Techno, R&B, Hip Hop and Reggae. There are famous DJs like James Holden, Fat Boy Slim, Arman Van Heldena and Paul Van Dyk.

2. WOMB

Conveniently located about 15 minutes away from the Shibuya Station, Womb is a great place to be. It has a massive dance floor that can handle over 1000 people at a time. There is an impressive main room that has a ceiling which is 30 feet high and 7 feet in diameter. It is famous for having the largest mirrored-ball in Tokyo.

3. Warehouse702

Warehouse 702 is known for its guest DJs like Axwell, Steve Angello, Justice and many more. It is also known for great parties.

4. Velours

Between a club and a lounge, Velours is a very fashionable venue. It has a famous VIP room which features a red sofa, miniature DJ booth, a buffalo head and wonderful paintings. There are great fashion shows and many featured events.

5. Vanity

Located in Roppongi, Vanity is on the top floor of the ROI building. Clubbers are treated to a great view as they party. Celebrities like Neyo have been known to visit.


These are but a few of the many great night clubs in Tokyo where you can drop by anytime and have a great party. Most of the clubs do have cover charges which include a few drinks. It is important to find out some information before you visit as there are clubs that have very expensive drinks once you are inside.
