Mountains and Parks

North Carolina has around 29 state parks, many of these are great places to go camping,pick-nicking, and hiking. Two of my favorite state parks are Pilot Mountain State Park and Hanging Rock State Park. These two parks have beautiful hiking trails and nice camping areas, they are a great place to get away for the week end. Some of North Carolina's State Parks are part of the Great Smokey Mountains with over 800 miles of trails and over 2,000 streams. No matter where you live in North Carolina, you can escape the daily grind and get away to visit some of the most beautiful places in North Carolina.

Many stages of Pilot Mountain State Park.
