My name is Sam. I am from Slovakia. Nowadays I study at a university in the Czech Republic. I like taking travel photos or writing blogs.

Journey to Norway

Hi everyone! Have you ever seen Norway fjords when outside is hot and the temperature is over 25°C? Me neither but I can describe to you how looked my journey to Norway with my family. My trip to Norway was held in summer so everyone could expect that we are going to talk about high temperatures and everything that belongs to the typical summer months. That’s not so true because in Norway occurs cold continental climate and that can cause often so many weather changes.

The Fjords

Norway fjord is a truly beautiful place as I could see. Combination of amazing nature, great air and lovely scenery in general. That’s my description of this place. But let’s talk more about my trip to Norway fjords. The best way to see this whole place is sailing through the fjords by a huge ship. Ours was a fully equipped one from MSC Company. So if you plan some cruise you can choose this one too.

Flåm Line

So we traveled from Germany to Denmark (to Copenhagen) and then to Norway, where we visited Geiranger fjord. But our Norway trip does still not end. After one next day, we arrived at another village called Flåm.

The most important attraction for which we visited that village was the Flåm Line. It is one of the steepest railway tracks in the world, about 20 km long. So we have completed this ride and I must tell you that it was a really great experience. I can not describe in words what we saw during this ride but I think that will be better if you look at the photos.

Stavanger

Our next and last stop in Norway was in town or city called Stavanger. I forgot there to taking many photos of that place so I have only a few. I will try to describe this city in words and very briefly. It is a city like any other but with beautiful nature around. I remember that it was cloudy there that day but I didn’t care about the weather because the city was nice and I was glad to be there.

In my opinion, Stavanger is a very universal and modern city. There are a lot of shops, parks, many services for entertainment and I consider living conditions in this city as great. You can just visit this city and you will see that you find everything what you need there.

Great Experience

Traveling on water was a really nice experience for me. On your way, you can see rocks, forests and many mountains. You can see that only when you are sailing through the fjord because if you are on the sea or ocean with your ship there’s not so much to see. Every fjord in Norway was so huge for me. It took some time to get from Norway sea to the end of the fjord. But you will be happy when you are on board too. So this was all about my trip to Norway. See you next time from somewhere else. Goodbye!
