In 2008, 2009, 2010 and 2011, Norwegian Cruise Line won the category of best Europe Cruise Line by World Travel Awards. World Travel Awards is an organization with a renowned yearly program well established in the travel industry and recognized world wide.

Norwegian offers Mediterranean cruises that visits many ports along the East and West sides of the Mediterranean Sea. Some of Norwegian's newest and finest ships travel to the Mediterranean. Experienced cruisers without children and school schedules to worry about, often like the shoulder months better due to less crowds but still very nice temperatures in most countries. The shoulder months are April through May, September and October. Norwegian usually has some great cruise deals for their shoulder month cruises.
