Orlando Florida's Universal Studios
Rides at the Park
Universal Studios have roller coaster rides and thrill rides based on the films that we know and love such as Jaws, Back to the Future, Earth Quake, Twister, The Simpsons, Shrek 4D and Terminator 3D. Also E.T., Men in Black and The Mummy Returns are at this park. This park is great fun for the whole family. Here at this park, there is something for everyone.
You actually experience a movie thrill ride on each of these rides. In Jaws, you ride on a boat with the shark on your tail. This ride is so impressive that you feel like you are going to be attacked by the shark. This ride is very realistic and quite fun.
On the, Men in Black ride, you are in a moving cart shooting at aliens. You feel like you are really shooting the aliens. At the end of the ride, your scores are tabulated against the other riders at the time to see who can shoot the most aliens. This ride has many targets that resemble the aliens from the actual film with the same title as the ride.
Mummy Returns is an indoor roller coaster that has images of horror flashing before your eyes while you ride. It has mummy's and a huge open mouthed monster at the end of the ride going forward. As you approach the end you go backward away from the monster. This ride is not for the faint of heart.
Shrek and Terminator features glasses for the riders to wear. On The Terminator ride, you are treated to a re-creation of clips from the film and it feels very real to say the least. At one point on Terminator it looks like rats are coming at you and your seats somehow touch at your feet from underneath which is spooky and cool.
Back to the Future features a car that moves on a track but, you feel like your flying through space at a very fast clip. This is one of my most favorite movies of all time.
In both rides like Twister, and Earth Quake, the rides make the rider feel like they are actually in a natural disaster. Twister features strong winds, fire, flying trucks and cows among other flying objects. The debris cloud on Twister is so life-like.
The Rip Ride Rocket is a full blast music pumping roller coaster type ride that is scary and fast indeed.
The Despicable Minion Ride is a 3D motion ride that is out of this world, I shall leave it at that. Then that last but, not least is E.T. Which is of course, is based on the famous film, with the same name. This ride in my opinion is awesome. It would see like you are riding the bicycle just like on E.T.
In this ride, the rider gets on bicycles and then your elevated into the air. After your twenty feet in the air, then the effects begin.
This park has so many unique rides and shows that it typically takes two full days to see and do all the entertainment. It's fun for everyone whether your a child or an adult, male or female. Every single year they add new attractions and they also host musical guests and many other celebrities. This is true fun all day long and you can even get an express pass to bypass the long lines. If the park is very busy, you may want to pay the extra money to not have to stand in the regular line for the ride.
