Palm Coast, FL Golfing

If you've read my previous post, "About Palm Coast, FL" then you know approximately where Palm Coast is on the map.

At this latitude, Florida's climate is just beautiful...perfect for outdoor sports such as golf. We have moderate season changes, with average lows in the winter in the 40's and highs in the summer in the 90's.

If your sport is golf, then Palm Coast, FL is the City for you! Within Palm Coast, there are 9 beautiful golf courses.

  • The Grand Club Cypress Course in Cypress Knolls designed by Gary Player
  • The Grand Club Pine Course in Pine Lakes designed by Arnold Palmer
  • Grand Haven Golf Club located within Grand Haven (private) designed by Jack Nicklaus
  • Palm Harbor Golf Club located in Palm Harbor (currently closed)
  • Hammock Dunes Club (private)
  • Creek Course At Hammock Dunes (private)-this 72 par, 7355 yard course was named one of Golf Digest Magazine's Top Rated Golf Courses for Florida in 2005-2006
  • Ocean Hammock Resort-The Ocean Course-7201 yard, 72 par designed by Jack Nicklaus and has been awarded 9 seperate awards. This location will be hosting the PGA Champions Tour, the Ginn Championship March 24-30, 2008.
  • The Conservatory At Hammock Beach (private) designed by Tom Watson
  • The Grand Club Matanzas Course (currently closed)

Then, just a short drive south into Volusia County the public courses include :

Halifax Plantation Golf Club, River Bend Golf Club, Tomoka Oaks Golf & Country Club, and Riviera Country Club.
