Learning To Be A Photographer In Cornwall Is Fun!

I think I picked a good place to start to seriously learn about photography, Cornwall has so many beautiful places to photograph and it has actually inspired me to want to take more pictures. After ever time I spend the day taking pictures of a place, I immediately plan my next trip out!

My Wife spent a lot of time in Boscastle as a child because her Aunt had a farm out there and her family would stay there, and she used to tell me how pretty it was, but I wasn't prepared for how right she was.

Stepping into Boscastle is like stepping back in time (in a good way) you get the immediate feeling that life is a much more gentle pace here. It isn't a place where you walk, it is a place where you stroll.

The Cliff Walks Are Beautiful

Taking some beautiful pictures wasn't exactly going to be difficult here, everything, from the view from the cliffs, to the view from the car park was absolutely stunning. And everyone was friendly and seemed to be in a really good mood.

After stopping for a picnic at one of the prettiest picnic spots I have ever sat at, we decided not to take the rest of the cliff walk as it was a pretty warm day. Strolling back through the town we stopped for a coffee and got a taste of Boscastle's legendary hospitality. And we also saw the famous Boscastle busker, giving a brilliant rendition of "The wild rover"

The Museum Of Witchcraft And Magic

One of the most interesting things about Boscastle is the worls famous "Museum Of Witchraft and Magic" Which features collections of occult paraphernalia from all over Europe. It's really interesting and you don't have to be heavily into magic and mystery to enjoy it.

Wheelchair Friendliness Is Rare in Cornwall

For somewhere in Cornwall, Boscastle is relatively wheelchair friendly (apart from the cliff walk obviously) but to go around the town shouldn't be too much trouble. Parking doesn't cost much and there are plenty of places to get food and drink (and more importantly, ice cream)

Visit Boscastle

If you want somewhere to take pictures of a pretty looking village, some stunning sea views and wonderful cliff top walks, Boscastle is definitely the place you need to go.

Oh, Boscastle looks beautiful. Cornwall is indeed a stunning county. I wouldn't mind visiting the Witchcraft and Magic Museum. That sounds very interesting. It's a shame I live so far away from Cornwall. But hopefully some day I will get there. I have been to Devon though, and it's lovely there too.
