So Many Reasons To Visit Padstow
Padstow in Cornwall is famous for so many things that I could not just give one specific reason to visit, there are so many reasons I would recommend visiting Padstow.
Beautiful Views in Padstow
The first reason is the views, everywhere you turn in Padstow, you see a beautiful view. Whether it is on the beach, lokoing at the vast expanse of ocean, or in the harbour, admiring the boats that range from luxurious and decadent, to practical and well used.
There are so many things to see in Padstow, it is the perfect place to take your camera. It is also why it is never quiet, seriously, I go to Padstow a lot and it is one of the busiest places in all of Cornwall.
If you are visiting during the summer months, I recommend getting the park and ride, it's £4 for the whole day and it includes a 2 way bus trip to and from the main car park (which is always full no matter what time of year) It's well worth it because the hill is really steep.
Food in Padstow
The second reason to visit Padstow is the food, it is world famous for having some of the best seafood. Particularly with Rick Stein's cookery school being on of the first things you see when entering the town centre. You can also get fish and chips from Rick Steins shop, right below the cookery school. They're not cheap, but they are worth every penny as they are totally delicious.
But even without Rick Stein's presence, Padstow has some of the most delicious food on offer, with so many places serving up fish and chips and other delicacies that you would expect in a town famous for its culinary skill.
A Lot Happens in Padstow
The third reason for visiting Padstow is the events, from the Christmas markets to the food festival, there always seems to be something happening in Padstow.
If you don't feel like eating or shopping at the market, you can always take a tour of the harbour in one of the many boats that offer them. It will give you the chance to see Padstow from a different angle. Alternatively, you can hire bikes from the cycle hire centre and ride around Padstow's cycling trail, which is massively popular with lots of people.
There is Something for Everyone in Padstow
No matter what you are into, whether it is food, culture, boats or exercise, you are sure to find something to do in Padstow.
