Hokkaido is the first ideal place. This is the second largest island of Japan. The most special thing of this island is climate. In summer, the weather is not hot but breeze and cool. Many tourists are attracted by this reason. Opposite to summer, it is very harsh in winter. Winter comes and brings along it snowfall and freezing wind. However, this seems to be advantage point of Hokkaido as it becomes most ideal condition for winter sports. Fuji Mount

The second place to mention is Fuji Mount. This is the highest mountain in Japan with the height of 3.776m. One exceptional feature of the Fuji is that it has the shape of nearly perfect cone, which fascinates many poets and artists with magnificent view. Another very popular place is Kinkaku-ji, or the Golden Pavilion in other words. It was once burnt in 1950 by a young monk. The one located in Kyoto now is the very image of the first Golden Pavilion. From the outside, it looks like a mansion covered with gold. The reflection of the golden mansion on ponds is a sight you cannot ignore.

Himeji Castle

Last but not least is Himeji Castle, which is known as “White Heron Castle”. You can enjoy a very primitive scene as this Castle is one of twelve that remain its original condition. If the special thing of Fuji is its shape cone then Himeji Castle is famous for pine and cherry trees surrounding it. You cannot help yourself relaxing in such a charming spectacle like that. This is one of the three most famous places in the country.
