For many people in India, including myself, Goa is a paradise. Goa is a state in India. This small state, which covers an area of 3702 square kilometers, is located on the Western Ghats range. Panaji is the capital of Goa. Around 1.8 million people live in this beautiful state, which has a tropical monsoon climate. The average annual temperature of Goa is 27.42 °C.

Goa has an international airport, the Goa International Airport, which is also known as Dabolim airport. Goa is well-connected by rail and road. Margao and Vasco-da-Gama are the two major railway stations in the state. Goa has many bus stations.

Located in South Goa, this exquisite destination is around 60 kilometers from Goa International Airport. This beach is not as peaceful as it used to be. Scuba diving, kayaking and canoeing are popular activities here.

Mandrem Beach

Located in North Goa, this beach around 21 kilometers from Panaji. It is well-known for fine Goan feni and expert stonecarvers. It is an isolated beach with vast stretches of empty sand.

Cavelossim Beach

Cavelossim beach is well-known for its contrasting black lava rocks and white sand. Boating and dolphin viewing are popular activities in this clean, quiet and peaceful beach. It is located between the Arabian Sea and the Sal River. Here you get many Goan dishes and seafood at reasonable prices. You will find luxurious beach resorts here. Calangute Beach

Calangute Beach is the largest beach in North Goa. This incredibly beautiful beach, with its golden sand, scintillating water, palm trees and coconut trees, deserves the title "Queen of Beaches". Parasailing is a popular activity here. Calangute Beach is also famous for its nightlife.

Querim Beach

Also known as Keri beach, this beach in North Goa comprises a long stretch of sand with a few rocky outcrops, rows of trees and Terekhol river inlet. It is a peaceful stretch of coastline; a sunny haven of sand, sea and serenity.

Querim beach is located at a distance of 38 kilometers from Mapusa and 50 kilometers from Panaji. You can reach the beach by bus or cab; bicycles and scooters are available for rent. Visit between October and June.
