Background

We moved here six months ago, about two years after I retired from The University of Texas at Arlington. My wife, Christine, is also a retired school teacher, but she had the more difficult job of teaching elementary kids for most of her career and severe and profoundly handicapped children for the final eight years. I was born in El Paso, at William Beaumont Army Hospital, and lived here several times during my father's military career. I graduated from Austin High School and finished my BA at UT El Paso. After my military service, I returned and obtained my MA in Speech Communication at UTEP. Now, we're back.

I have been an avid photographer all of my life, but now that I have the time, I have gotten better at it. Christine is a terrific painter. She prefers watercolor, but is currently experimenting with acrylics. All in all, I hope you will check this new site and find some, well, Pretty Good Pictures."
