Roger Williams Park Zoo

In 1872 the Roger Williams Park Zoo opened to the public. It is home to well over 100 different species and each animal has a setting befitting what it needs. It's the second oldest zoo in America and it has many exotic and unique animals as well as common zoo animals.

Some of the animals at the park zoo are: Chinese Alligators, exhibits with giant anteaters, polar bears and another full of huge bald eagles are here as well as all the big cats, brown bears, elephants and monkeys.

Comment: I think that this park zoo is nice because of it's animals that they have that are not at lots of Zoo's including: red river hogs, red pandas and tree kangaroos. Also, the park is clean and the food is delicious although a little pricey for just small meals.

Jamestown Newport Ferry

The Ferry allows cars, trucks and even buses to cross the James river for free and it's open 24/7. It officially opened for public usage in 1925.

Priding the ferry takes 15 minutes to cross one way and it's a slow, scenic route that is a must to try at least once when visiting the Newport area.

Billy Taylor WaterPark

Billy Taylor Waterpark has several Olympic size pools with slides and diving boards as well as smaller pools for children. Also, large, twisting slides, a lazy river and a wave pool are all part of the water attractions.

Comment: I'm biased because I love waterParks but this one is well kept, very large and the rides are unique especially the spinning slides that tKe you all which of ways.
