Access Rosemary Beach, Fl

Updated on October 29, 2015

Welcome to the luxury world of 30A, a relatively new development, and a hot spot of the ultra trendy, uber luxury beachfront resort property. With multiple quaint little towns, and some of the most unspoiled beachfront property on the beach, 30A is the new where to go place if you want to live on the beach, and have a little extra spending cash. All the little villages are all a couple minutes apart, and each has its own uniqueness about it, making the 30A area and all of the Rosemary Beach real estate area its own little wonderland on the Florida Coast.

Rosemary Beach, Florida

Rosemary Beach is just one of the many unique community’s that dot the stretch of road known affectionately as 30A. Designed by internationally renowned planners, anywhere in Rosemary Beach is just a quick walk or bike ride away. Comprised of multiple neighborhoods, all connected by a network of pedestrian paths and bike ways, the town is full of hidden gems around every turn, to include tennis courts, swimming pools, and other town amenities. With roads that are restricted to vehicle traffic, everything is accessible by foot. And isn't that the way life is supposed to be? With everything being within a stone’s throw from the town’s center? With the shops, Town Hall, and even Post Office beckon people to stay and socialize in the stress free environment and atmosphere Rosemary Beach is known for. As you stroll the many footpaths throughout Rosemary beach, you will be greeted by many native species of rosemary herb that line the sand paths that the town is named after.

Dune Walkovers

Rosemary Beach is committed to protecting the environment, and is built to flow with nature, rather than fight with it. This has been accomplished by no building beyond the coastal construction control line. Because of this, 9 dune walkovers were built to provide the residents of Rosemary Beach access to the beach. They are designed to protect the fragile dune system that protects our shores during storms. They also help with erosion control. 2 of the walkovers are wheelchair accessible, and contain restrooms, and each walkover has its own outside shower for washing sand off.

Butterfly Park

Northwest of Rosemary Beach at the West Kingston Road is one of the most elaborate butterfly gardens in the area, and was conceived as a display garden that would emphasize the native landscape. Walkways weave throughout the plants that attract thousands of tourists, and millions of butterfly’s every year. The best time to go is from spring to fall, although butterfly’s can be seen year round.

Parks/Paths

Rosemary Beach makes use of as much of its real estate as possible, and incorporated many small areas for residents to just sit back and relax, as well as multiple small parks, some with picnic areas and small playgrounds for your children. There are 5 larger parks in Rosemary Beach, including the East and West Long Green Park(s), North Barrett Square, the St. Augustine Park (featuring an interactive children’s fountain), and the Rosemary Beach Butterfly Park. Most paths throughout Rosemary Beach are equipped with benches and places to stop and rest if needed. The Rosemary Beach Fitness Trail is an exercise path for pedestrians and bikers that winds through the towns native landscape, and incorporates 4 fitness stations along its 2.3 mile length
