Sea World: Orlando, Florida

Sea World is a place to take the family on vacation. When you think of Sea World you probably just think you watch a dolphin show and feed them. There are so many things to do at Sea World. Well, although you can do those things, the park has got much more to it than that. The park has water rides and roller coasters.

Kraken is a huge floor-less roller coaster that blasts you twice in the air the second shot further and faster than the first. In mid air, amazing. It makes you feel like you are actually in the air flying and it is truly exhilarating. It is not for the faint of heart or the person who is afraid of heights.

In Journey to Atlantis at Sea World, you boat ride through a dark and dirty swampy area before being tossed full speed with your boat down a coaster size drop. This sends you down a nice drop before being thrust into the water. Not for the faint of heart.

Of course, the best ride to me hands down, is got to be the Manta. This ride is a cross between a roller coaster and a Manta. Your coaster wiggles straight down towards the ground. This is just a different kind of roller coaster. If you are a true fan or roller coasters, you have got to check out this unique one of a kind coaster.

At the Happy Harbor, they have tea cups, a kid coaster and a carousel. These are more for the children but, what a great day to spend with your family. There are benches all around the park so that you can sit while you wait for your riders. You can sit around for as long as you like. Life is so relaxed here.

The four hundred foot Sky Tower rides you in slow motion from top to bottom. It is scary but, besides roller coaster rides, it has clowns and special events during the summer months of operation. This ride can be enjoyed by riders of all sizes and ages. Although it goes up very high, it goes up really slow.

This park has something for everyone whether you are a man, woman, child, old or young. Park benches are all over the place and most of them are located in shaded areas throughout the park. This is place where you can spread a blanket and have a picnic. Water fountains are everywhere and not just near restrooms.

Other than those rides, the park surprised me by having so many shows and exhibits such as: The Acrobatic Water Show, Blue Horizon, (which features bird and dolphin tricks), Dolphin Cove and a Gigantic Aquarium. The aquarium has a stairway so that you can travel from top to bottom of this humongous centerpiece. They have a souvenir shop that sells many aqua products, if you will, and of course cloths, hats and other knick knacks. They have candy, snacks, sodas and other treats for sale at multiple areas throughout.

The Park has a Dolphin Tour and a Sea Lion Tour. Also, you get a close up aquatic tour that shows you the life of a mammal keeper. I have been to Sea World personally and I was there from open to close and still didn't get to see all of the park. It's definitely a two day excursion if your would like to cover the entire park including, lunch and watching any shows, or going to scheduled events.

The Dolphins are very smart without a doubt and they prove it with out of this world stunts and tricks. The Sea Lions are not slouches themselves and they will perform for people right away. It is as if it pleases them to do our bidding and to entertain an audience. Dolphins are probably the one area of the park that gets the most visitors and lots of times the dolphins actually get standing ovations.

There are at least two days worth of things to do not to mention some rides or events you may want to attend or ride more than once. The aquarium features a school of Manta before your eyes, and it is wild, you feel as if your in the tank with them.

SeaWorld Surprises

Other than their normal shows Sea World also has annual events and sometimes some surprise events for the customers. Concerts and other attractions appear at this park several times throughout the calendar year. You never know what the adventure is going to be like when your at Sea a World in Orlando, Florida.

This is a really great vacation spot. I hope that you get to visit one day. Taking time out of our busy lives is very important and I think that a trip to the beach is key. (That is the best endorsement for a beach trip that I have).

There is a comment section at the bottom of this hub and if you have been to Sea World, I hope that you will take the time to leave your comments or tell me what your favorite part of the park is.
