Let's start the fun ...

If you are wandering, when I'll have my next hub ready, wander no more - here it is!

As fellow hubbers, I like to share the following information with you:

Three years ago I signed up with a Vacation Club in Sosua Bay near Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic. I am now spending my forth vacation with them at a sea-side resort called Hacienda Tropical where I'm enjoying a lovely holiday in the sun for close to two months, away from the snow and the cold up in Canada.

I thought it would be a good idea to invite a few of my fellow hubbers to the resort so we can go over some of the hub topics we have been discussing recently, like "Is religiosity endangering good mental health?" or "How will the ultimate collapse of the US economy play itself out?" and one or two new ones, like "How does your world view change after a specific quantity of your favourite drinks?" ... it may be a lot of fun to have some informal discussions at the beach, over dinner or at the bar while extending our personal contacts past the virtual experiences I have enjoyed here on Hub Pages so far.

To make it easy for fellow hubbers to share the member benefits I receive from this club, I set up this special Club Page for you to view. You receive the same services when booking your vacation through this online Club Page without having to pay for a Club Membership yourself.

The best way to make a booking is to plan a 2 or 3 week vacation in advance by checking for available flights from your part of the world to Puerto Plata. As an example, I got a direct flight with WestJet from Toronto for $640 return which brings me here in under four hours. Once you have your primary and alternate dates for your stay, enter them into this Online Reservation Form

You have the option of booking a Junior Suite suitable for two people at $330 per week. There is no single supplement for a single person. An All-Inclusive Fee of $47.50/person/day is payable on arrival for unlimited first-class dining and drinks of many kinds.

When booking a One or Two Bedroom Suite at the weekly rate indicated on the Online Reservation Form, the All-Inclusive Fee maybe optional for you during my stay at the resort.

If I'm here in person or not, I'd be pleased to get your reservations booked and confirmed for you as quickly as possible. Just send your completed Online Reservation Form with your AlertPay Payment via email. It's free to open an AlertPay Account should you not have one yet.

One of the benefits you will enjoy right away is a complementary transfer between the resort and the airport on arrival and departure. If you like to invite friends or family to join you or let them have a nice vacation on their own, just send them the link to this hub ...

To let me know you are interested or have any questions, send me an email or get me on Skype ...

It's not as expensive as you may think and the Dominican Republic in general, offers good value when you check around online between the different deals! :)

Thanks Sue and Zsuzsy - my seven week vacation went quickly. I could have endured it even longer, no problem! :)

Now that I'm back in Ontario, Canada, the part of the world Zsuzsy and I call home, I have updated the reservation forms with a few new options in Puerto Plata and Punta Cana with current prices, so please take a look and let me know if I can be of some help.
