Miss Italia Shopping at Sorelle Ramonda

The Ultimate High-End Outlet Shopping Experience

Having lived in Italy for a number of years, one of my favorite places to shop was the super high-end outlet malls called Sorelle Ramonda.

I can not say enough that this one shopping mecca you will not want to miss! From haute-couture names such as Armani to Zanetti ... you will not be disappointed.

I remember the first shopping experience that I ever had at the outlet. I can imagine the Italian retail clerks walking the floors, snickering to themselves as I went crazy through the loaded racks. I walked away with a beautiful pair of tailored Piu Piu white trousers with a retail rate of about $140 but paid about $5 in Euro currency. Of course, that was about ten years ago, but I'm pretty sure you can find the same deals today because most of the outlet's fashion is over-stock, slightly out-dated, and ranging from a few months to a few years behind current trending.

Of course, this does not matter.

Most Italian fashion is five years ahead of the industry trends, and what you buy today is still in style tomorrow! I have to admit I still have this pair of white trousers, hanging in my closet. Unfortunate that I can no longer fit into those slacks!

The location of the outlet in which I used to shop was also the main headquarters of Sorelle Ramonda, located in Alte Di Montecchio Maggiore (near the cosmopolitan cities of Verona and Vicenza), but now there many more location spread out across northern Italy. Here's a list of some of those locations in the Veneto and Trentino Alto Adige Regions:

The Victoria's Secret of Italy

Intimissi is the premier lingerie boutique to shop for things that are naughty and nice.

Though a bit high-end, no more so than what you would pay for at a Victoria's Secret store here in the United States. From frilly lace to sateen and velvet, this store has a beautiful line of intimate wear.

Since its inception, the lingerie store has gone from just selling lingerie to incorporating women's clothing and accessories, as well. You will find that the Italian retail clerks are more attentive and helpful to your needs than anywhere else.

You can find Instimissi located everywhere throughout Italy, and on a surprising note, the boutique has made its debut in Columbus, at the Ohio Easton Town Center, the only of its kind in the United States.

Milano

Galleria Pattari, 2. M1-M3 Duomo. Open Mon-Sun 10 am - 8pm T:+39.02.89013705

Thanks Jan ... glad to hear I could be one to help. Let me tell you ~ ABSOLUTELY heaven! Another tip ... Just remember in Italy ... the further you drive south, the worse the driving gets and you should be on defense lol

I really appreciate this hub. I have relatives in Italy and go there from time to time. I am quite familiar with Verona and Vicenza. I am happy to know some Italian outlets, as the regular stores are so expensive. Thanks so much for sharing your knowledge with us.

Wow! I want to go shopping. DSW in the US is still a good place to shop, but I would so like to try it in Italy. Hope someone reads my comment and offer to make my dream come true (smile). Thanks for the excitement, Ziyena.
