After staying so many years in Bangkok. I finally realise that those early days when I check in a hotel, I want a good and expensive place to stay while I am in Bangkok. But now my conceptual of staying in a expensive hotel have change.

I was actually sitting at Denny's Corner bar at Sukhumvit Soi 22 opposite side of Regency Park Hotel. Drinking tiger beer (only 65 Baht all night long) and I came to know Khun Moo the elder sister of the owner of the bar. She is a nice lady to talk with, well I told myself now I have found a good place to drink here now. After weeks and month I finally met up with the owner her name is Khum Som (in Thai mean orange). Nice lady too and from the conversation I came to know that she have a guesthouse not very far down the road. She invited me to take a look at the guesthouse and maybe I can recommend her some customer to stay there while they are in Bangkok.

With no doubt I promise her that I will visit her guesthouse to check it out. Finally the day has come and it was last year christmas gathering. I cook some black pepper ribs and when to the guesthouse. Is not that difficult to find just next to the Imperial Queen's Park Hotel. It is a 3 storey townhouse with some parking area at the front. The entrance looks cool, I mean looks OK. There are sitting area with a nice BIG LCD TV. Internet corner on the right with some dinning table and straight at the end is the reception counter and the kitchen.

The first thing that come to my mind was how much does the room cost and what kind of rooms that have? With big suprise Khum Som told me that there are 9 rooms with different prices but all prices are inclusive of breakfast. 6 rooms with A/C, cable TV, hot shower and fright cost 900 Baht per night and 3 rooms with fan cable TV, hot shower and fright cost 800 Baht per night. In my mind I ask myself "What?" that was cheap.

After I have a small tour to the rooms, the owner told me "Is all depends on what you are looking for. Just sleep with hot shower and out all day, why do you need to spend so much for a expensive hotel?" . "Hmmmmm you are right" I said. Most of the hotel now in Bangkok ranging from 1,400 Baht ~ 8,000 Baht per night. With that kind of saving thought and use the money wisely if stay let say 10 days 5,000 Baht min !!! You can used these money for food, drinks and fun !!!

I also think maybe she should change the rest of the rooms to A/C too just with one pricing
