Yahoo.... ! the snow has ended and we are heading to the above zero range for the next several days. It has been a easy winter to date and not complaining

Just a short hello to all. I had a trip planned to head into Montana tomorrow for the day but it was cancelled so I get to lounge around and catch up on some long overdue editing and more writing.

Well I suppose I better think as well about getting some packing done as leaving on Saturday for some fun in the sun in Arizona for several days. Looking forward to the adventure and looking around a little with future retirement winter residence in mind.

Gather around, I have kept the fire small tonight... just put your feet up and take some rest. It is well deserved to you all for the wonderful writing you do.

Pet Resort

Quigley is heading to the Pet Resort. She was there last weekend while I was at a conference and from all the reports she did very well and enjoyed the stay. It has become a magic word "Resort" as her ears perk up right away.

The owners are wonderful people and they have an 11 year old daughter that has taken a real interest in Quigley. Truth be known I think Quig's spent a fair amount of time at the main house while she was there. Spoiled I would say. She is such a sociable dog getting along with all the others. But she recognized the sound of the car when I pulled up and made a fuss.

Travel within Canada is never an issue as I have a 4G Internet USB plug in that allows me full access. It is always an issue when travelling outside of the region. I though I was covered but learned today I need to read the fine print. I have access at the development I will be staying at, wireless is available so I managed to get access which is good.

The new iPad 3 is yet another concern as my provider here is not yet up and running with the 4G LTE system as of this evening. The young fellow I was talking to at the support desk is saying they can hardly keep ahead of the technology these products are going to be needing. Pauses one to stop and wonder why we would even consider owing one. I know that AT&T and Verizon offer the service and may have to go with them.

I often think back it was not that long ago we never heard terms like 4G LTE and yet when we think we can reach out to anyone in the world with a click of a mouse it is astounding.

In Touch

It is always good to stay in touch in this age we live. Family and friends expect it whe we travel. I can be reached anywhere and stay abreast of the news.

I will continue to post in a 30/30 Challenge I have accepted to promote three other fellow hubbers in. They are all doing very well and meeting the demand. Good on all of you . If you get a chance visit them and say hello they are as follows.

They are all very talented and highly regarded writers.

Hugs to all of you and maybe we can get connected again soon.

Morning Marcy... thanks for stopping by and you are close to the setting in many ways. That shows the creative mind that you have. Well done.... Quigley just gave another wiggle when I mentioned the word resort. It will be serious stuff when I start collecting all her "Stuff" and put it into her suitcase tomorrow.

      Hugs from Canada

You always pull the reader into your setting - I feel like I'm sitting at a wooden table with you, sharing a cup of herbal tea or a mug of hot chocolate and looking out the window at some beautiful mountains or something. I'm glad Quigley likes the resort! We used to call it camp when one of the furrier family members had to go there for a few days.

Nice writing - voted up and interesting.
