Spring Texas The Best Place to Live in Texas

Updated on July 17, 2010

We have been living in the Spring Texas area (also known as The Woodlands) most of our adults lives and have found no other place greater to live. Once you visit our area you will know why we love it so much here.

The real estate market has affordable homes for just about any family budget and the rental home market is a buyers market right now with the economy the way it is - Plus there are literally dozens of great apartment homes complexes that cater to just about anyone's needs and financial situations.

Plus Spring, Tx is situated in an area that gives you plenty of activities for the whole family. From the Woodlands Mall, Lake Conroe, The Woodlands Country Club, Old Town Spring. Over a dozen great golf courses and the best places to eat you can imagine.

Spring Texas Real Estate From Affordable To The Ultra Exclusive

This area has one of the largest diversities of home pricing most will ever see - you buy a home in Spring Texas from the low 100's to the sky is the limit with multimillion dollar formal estates in The Woodlands. Financing is usually a breeze to qualified home buyers and there are literally dozens of mortgage companies and banks ready to lend right now.

Spring and Conroe Independent School Districts make up the stellar educational system in our area - and offer a notch above what most public schools offer today. But there is also a bevy of private schools to insure a top notch education for your children as well. Either way you can be safe in the knowledge your child will get a great education here.

Jobs in the Spring Texas area are very plentiful as well - There are many large employers here, and in the Montgomery county area. But with the advent of the Hardy Toll Road you can be less than 30 minutes away from your in downtown Houston.

Great Shopping at the Woodlands Mall and Old Town Spring

The Woodlands Mall offers one of the best shopping malls in Texas - If you cannot find it there - then you probably didn't need it anyway. We even have our own Apple Computer store. But there are plenty of high end clothing stores, jewelry stores, elite home furnishing, and some of the best dining experiences you will ever have.

After your Saturday shopping spree and great lunch - take a ride on The Woodlands own Water Taxi to relax and take in the sights. The next closest water taxi is San Antonio, Texas - We always like to go for a ride after having some great seafood at Rockfish.

Keep your Sundays open for shopping at Old Town Spring - They have everything else The Woodlands Mall doesn't carry. Like their own winery, Hot Sauce Store, antiques galore, handmade candles, unique food, they even have store that caters to people from England supplying them with all the comfort food from across the pond. Arts and Crafts is probably the central theme of Old Town Spring.

Don't forget the Annual Craw-fish Festival - Lots of Mud-Bugs, Beer, Bands, and good times.

Come to the Spring Houston area for a weekend and you will want to stay the rest of your lives.

The Woodlands is a beautiful area filled with many trees. The houses and shopping centers are carved into it leaving many of the trees in place. Not a lot of brick and concrete as found in other areas. Well thought out and designed and all price ranges, as you mentioned.

You are going to find the new apartments more toward Magnolia - it's only about 7 miles from the Woodlands - My Mother is looking into some Senior Living Apartments on FM1488 Near I-45

I'll be moving to the Houston area and am looking for an apartment. Do you have any advice about this. Are the Houston Chronicle classifieds the best bet?
