St. Louis Places to See

St. Louis has many hidden little gems to go see and experience, just because you have seen the Arch or Busch stadium doesn’t mean you have experienced St. Louis and all that it has to offer. Are you craving something sweet and chocolatey? Have you tried the place in Union Station that makes the fudge in front of you? How about riding the metrolink train to see more? On it you will see from Lambert Airport to Scott Air Force Base and along that path you will see Union Station, Casino Queen, to St. Clair Square Mall and more. It is well worth the ride. This includes the nightlife down on the river's edge. The local breweries, restaurants, and entertainment help add to the love of the city and all of the old buildings.

Speaking of the night life the many casinos will keep you busy with night clubs, restaurants, gambling and even shows. Be sure to always look up in the casinos, there ceilings and walls are beautifully designed and will keep you mesmerised.

On the sporty side of things, St. Louis is known for the Cardinals, they have won 11 World Series and we have the new Busch Stadium. Don’t forget our hockey team the Blues at the Scottrade Center. St. Louisian’s bleed red and blood for their teams.

If this isn’t your cup of tea and you are a bit more like me, then I would suggest the St. Louis Zoo or the St. Louis Science Center. They are across the street from each other and will keep you busy for hours. Don’t fo get about the Magic House as well. There are plenty of things to do whether you are out on a date or with your family. You just need to know where to look.

No matter what you decide to take advantage of while here, just keep your eyes open. You never know if you might see one of these hidden gems just around the corner or run into a mom and pops place here in St. Louis. It’ll be a memory worth having and take lots of pictures.
