Harris Farm Cross County Ski Center (Dayton, Maine)
Whether your a pro or beginner this ski resort is top notch. Ski slopes for different levels of experience are located at the center. A fancy restaurant and bar are located on the grounds as well as a beautiful view of the land. Their is also an area for snow boarding which is awesome although it's a smaller area of land.
The Ski area covers over 500 acres and do not forget to try Harris Farms famous chocolate milk. Even if your not big on Skiing then touring the dairy farm and veggie farm is an unbelievable experience especially for the uninitiated.

Funtown Splashtown USA ( Saco, Maine)
Funtown USA is an awesome waterpark that has multiple slides, a lazy river and a wave pool. Several snack shops and places to eat are scattered all over the park. The beach area is a favorite because you can lay out in the sun and cool off in the wave pool.
Funtown also has an amusement park with several big thrill rides for adults and lots of kids rides like bumper cars too! This place is cool because it not only has a humongous arcade but lots of state fair type stuff like ring the bottle and win a stuffed animal and shooting basketball just to name a few. One aspect of the amusement park I like is that music is always played all day.
Cape Porpoise (Kennebuckport, Maine)
Cape Porpoise is a small village off the coast that hooks to Goose Rocks Beach. The lighthouse is a classic place to visit and a must take photo op. It's also a great place for romance if your all alone up there.
Boat tours take you to the small island and the lighthouse. A snack shop and gift store are on the premises. Video recording is allowed and should be done. The sites are something to behold indeed.
Crescent Beach State Park (Cape Elizabeth, Maine)
Crescent Beach Park has fishing, camping, boating, hiking and a swimming area. An area that has grills and roofed spots are across the way.
You can fish off the bank or from a boat. Truth be told you will catch more off the bank than from the boat. Make sure and have a fishing license.
Camp areas have restrooms, cleared out wooded spots and beautiful views. Sit back, relax and have a fantastic time.
When boating do not go past the huge cones into the swimming area and also watch out for other boaters passing by.
Maine Discovery Museum ( Bangor, Maine)
The Maine Discovery Museum has replicas and in some cases the originals on many historic items from history. Certain areas have tour guides to explain the miracles before you and how they were made to work.
All kinds of exhibits are on location including a dinosaur learning center. Food, drinks and a gift shop are on site as well. Sometimes traveling exhibits come to town and are on display. Hands on projects and videos are at the museum along with a deli and snack and gift shop.
