A great place to take the kids to watch planes land and have a pub lunch
The Airport hotel is a public house adjacent to the main runway of Manchester Airport.
You can enjoy your pint and pub dinner while watching the planes taxi the runway and take off! If you look the other way you will see the planes coming in to land. You sit literally yards away from these aircraft and it can be very noisy.
A great afternoon can be spent watching the activity of Manchester airports very busy terminal.
Don't forget to take your camera! There are many apps available for smartphones nowadays which allow you to track inbound flights.
It costs £5.00 to park on the pubs car park for up to 4hrs but if you buy drinks or food from the pub then £4.00 is refunded. The food and drink from the pub are reasonably priced!
