China Pavillion
China Pavillion is a place that has been around since 1994, and when I think of a good place to get an inexpensive lunch, this place is around the top of my list.If I had to pick my favorite item on the buffet, It would have to be the sesame chicken. I am not sure exactly how they cook it, but it is crunchy but tender at the same time. Like many chinese places, the atmosphere is casual. there are people in there wearing shorts, tea shirts and flip flops, sitting beside guys in suits.
Some of the staff here are not really english conversant, but they know buffet, the drink orders etc. Sometimes the gals are wearing shirts that say inappropriate things, but I am not sure they are aware of that fact. I always wonder, but I have never had bad service here, and the food is always kept fresh on the bar,
Golden Dragon
The Golden Dragon is located in downtown Topeka on Kansas Avenue and they offer a buffet certain evenings. We have never been able to pin down which evenings those are so that might be a good idea to call ahead. When we have eaten there in off buffet hours in other words when you order off the menu the food has been excellent.
The owners are very nice and try to make each customer happy.
Hong Kong Buffet
the Hong Kong buffet is probably one of the cheaper buffet places in Topeka.
