The Fashion Show Mall in Las Vegas

Updated on March 24, 2011

Like, the 5th or 6th best shopping mall in Las Vegas

Alright, I'm not going to lie to you. I've been to the Fashion Show Mall across the street from Encore (which is a sister property of Wynn) at the top end of the main part of the Las Vegas Strip multiple times and each time it gets worse. It's not that this is a terrible mall. In fact, I've been to many much worse. It's just that in Las Vegas there are so many shopping opportunities and in my experiences this is among the worst. This mall may be the big victim of the recession, which hasn't hit the casino properties nearly as hard (maybe because they get more foreigners?). It seems like their are more vacant store spaces each time.

On the plus side, there are generally good sales at the Fashion Show Mall. Although most of the stores in the mall can be found elsewhere in Vegas, the ones at Fashion Show will typically have lower prices.

Fashion Show Mall stores

I'm not going to list all the stores in Fashion Show Mall, but I'll give a list of my favorites. Many of these same stores can be found at the Grand Canal Shoppes at the Venetian or at the Forum Shops at Caesars Palace, but you might find better prices here. Just get a pass on the Deuce Bus and travel up and down the strip comparing prices. Or you can spend a little more and get a Las Vegas taxi.
