Even before I've read this hub, I was with my 2 daughters and a company of 4 at Moalboal Beach in Cebu City last week. It was an amazing tourist destination! We spent almost all day watching dolphins as they raced with our motorboat on our way to and from the majestic Pescador Island. I had experienced my first snorkeling around the blue waters, watched the underwater wonder of the Island. It was an exotic dream-come-true beach vacation! Thank you.

Lovely hub - just what I needed on a dreary afternoon in the UK! It's on my list to go, I've known quite a few people from the Philippines and had the pleasure of sampling the food.

hi how are u
Hey GH. I've been to Guimaras (lovely and peaceful place) and Amanpulo (the best!). Although Siargao is like 2 to 3 hours away from me, haven't been there yet. :)
Gosh, it's an absolute paradise. I can't believe this is so close to Australia and yet most of use have never been .
On SE Asia - there's a documentary by Pamela Stephenson where she takes her own boat from the top end of Australia to Indonesia in search of her family history (an ancestor was attacked by pirates). That was gorgeous scenery too.
I didn't realise until I visiting the Asian Civilisations museum in Singapore just how many languages the Philippines has - 175! Such a multicultural place, just out of interest how many do you speak? And is there one overarching one that most people speak - like mandarin in China?
Wow! These paradise really exist. Time to plan for a visit to those places.

Nice post about the Philippines beaches. Philippines Boracay Island has all the elements of a tropical island. The marine life is rich and diverse.
Please edit JFK in you entry above. There was no Amanpulo yet during his time. JFK, jr puede pa :)
why doesn't the travel industry do more promotion of the Philippines as a vacation spot. From what you have shown it seems there are some beautiful places.
Now I feel even more motivated to be successful here at HubPages so that I can afford another trip around the world :D
General, I've visited lots of places all over the world and thought I'd had my fill of traveling.
But now I feel like I must get to the Philippines! I have to admit that I had no idea there was so much beauty in your homeland, and now I'm sad that I didn't make it a part of my earlier travels...
