The Majestic Hotel Kuala Lumpur
The Stunning Majestic
Every time I go back to Malaysia, I love spending quality time in Kuala Lumpur before heading back to my quiet and small hometown. One of the first things I like to do is staying at The Majestic Hotel Kuala Lumpur. The Majestic is one of the luxurious and stylish hotels in the heart city of Kuala Lumpur. I thought of sharing my experience while staying at this stunning hotel. My first time staying at this hotel was in 2017, and last year I decided to stay there again because I was impressed with their service and the beauty within the hotel itself.
I arrived at the hotel by taking the free hotel shuttle from Kuala Lumpur Sentral Station (KL Sentral). By the way, the shuttle driver was very friendly. If you have any question about visiting the city, you can ask him. From the moment I came out from the van, I was greeted by the warm service of the concierge and door-keepers followed by the grand and spacious lobby. Although there were quite a number of people already waiting in line at the front desk waiting to be checked in, the staffs were very helpful.
I stayed in the Tower Wing where I booked a deluxe room for 2-nights stay. The room is incredibly spacious; extremely comfortable bed, nice huge sofa at the corner of the room, huge tub with a small screen television, two sinks, a separate shower, and a separate toilet. The mini bar was stocked with soft drinks and light snacks but, all required a cost. I was very delighted to see the room was also equipped with a coffee-pod machine (with two coffee capsules) and a variety of tea selections at free of charge. The room is very well sound-proofed and has a decent view. If you don't want to go out on the first day of arrival and want to stay inside the room, don’t worry the room feature a complimentary fast Wi-Fi connection.
The hotel facilities are outstanding. The Majestic Coach services operate regularly to Kuala Lumpur Sentral Station (KL Sentral), Starhill Gallery a high-end mall in the Bukit Bintang shopping district, and Mid Valley Shopping Mall. In the meantime, the hotel is a solid 8 minutes walk from the Muzium Negara MRT station where from there you'll be able to take a train to many places such as Bandar Utama for 1-Utama Shopping Centre, Bukit Bintang, and Cochrane for Mytown Shopping Centre.
Here’s a tip. If you wanted a nice experience of staying at a pleasant hotel, but you want to pay at a reasonable price there is always a way. My tip is by registered as a member, book directly from the hotel website, and choose the right time to stay. For example, don’t book during the peak season such as Public Holidays. Malaysia is a well-known country for celebrating a diversity of festivals and celebrations. So make sure to check the calendar before making any booking confirmation.
The hotel also provides breakfast, lunch, high-tea, and dinner. Check out their official website for more information.
