The seven new wonders of the world

Year 2007 Month 7 day 7

The world voted for which seven new wonders would be declared.

To the surprise for the Egyptians, the pyramides did not any more show on the list. But the new ones were fantastic enough:

The Pyramid at Chichén Itzá (before 800 A.D.) Yucatan, Mexico

Christ Redeemer (1931) Rio de Janeiro, Brazil

The Roman Colosseum (70 – 82 A.D.) Rome, Italy

The Great Wall of China (220 B.C and 1368 – 1644 A.D.) China

Machu Picchu (1460 – 1470) Peru

Petra (9B.C. – 40 A.D.)Jordan

The Taj Mahal (1630 A.D.) Agra, India

Hi Lina, it is awesome. The Peruvians know how to enjoy life. They are awyals celebrating something: they dress up in many different festival outfits, and dance away in a parade. It is such a joy to be in Cuzco and then to Machu Picchu. It is a fun and relaxing trip. The best part is we awyals have a great group of people joining us from all different parts of the world.
