Perak Man was found in 1991 in Malaysia. It is the oldest complete skeleton ever located in Malaysia at around 11,000 years old. Carbon dating and other research has verified the authenticity of these remains. This discovery is considered a very big deal in learning about the earth's past history. This discovery will lead to more excavating in the future in hopes of finding new artifacts from the past.

A pomelo fruit is the biggest citrus fruit on the planet and it resembles a gigantic grapefruit. It weighs as much as 3-4 pounds each with a diameter of 6-10 inches. The pomelo is sweet and the rind is used for making things such as marmalade or it is also eaten dipped in sugar. The pomelo at look like a big brother of the grapefruit but the similarities end there.

The oldest rainforest in the world is the Taman Negara in Malaysia. It was established officially in 1938 and it has a canopy walkway, caves, roped wooden brige and amazing forest. The true definition of experiencing the sights and sounds would be to visit these rainforests, in the safety of a trained tour guide no doubt. The bridge looks intimidating but I would definitely trek across it for the journey.

Malaysia is the largest supplier of rubber gloves in the world and the third largest producer of natural rubber on earth. A bunch of rubber producing plants keep income pouring into the economy. Almost half of the entire rubber production on the planet occurs in Malaysia. Rubber plantations started in the country in 1877 and it has only grew since that time. Another big seller relating to exporting rubber is tires for automobiles being produced worldwide.

Orangutans are in Malaysia and can only be located on two islands. The Bornean and Sumatran islands are the homes to these apes that live most of their life on tree branches high in the air. Considered the most intelligent primate, the orangutan uses wood and other items to make and use as tools for themselves. These very intelligent apes can live in the wild or adapt to a change in their environment and general surroundings. My favorite part of the zoo is gorillas and orangutans for sure.

It is not just the size but it is truly one of a kind in other ways as well.

The Tualang grows as tall as 289 feet and the base diameter is around 10 feet. By any standards this is one humongous tropical tree. The roots are not very deep and the y are large and they spread under and above the soil. The size of it allows people to view it from afar and the unique look captivates the eye.

Conditions are ripe for leafs to be outrageously large in Malaysia to be honest. When I see a picture of the Alocasia Macrorrhizos I think of two men waving leaves like that for a Queen who likes to feel the fan.

Brooks Brother's shirts and Intel Pentium processor chips are made in Malaysia by Malaysians. Designer shirts by Brooks Brothers are manufactured in a factory in Malaysia. Pentium Processor has a plant with hundreds of workers on the assembly line doing their job of producing these chips in mass numbers. Two items that are exported to tons of countries especially the Intel Pentium are made wit speed and precision because they contribute tons of greenbacks for the countries economy.
