1. Cathedral de Santa Maria
The Cathedral de Santa Maria is a building with great architectural value. The great size and grandeur of the cathedral makes it very appealing. The environment at the cathedral is exceptionally quiet and serene. A visit to Cathedral de Santa Maria provides great peace.


2. Real Casino de Murcia
The Real Casino de Murcia is one of the most beautiful buildings in Murcia. The building began to be constructed in 1847. It has been declared a National Historic-Artistic Building in 1983. The building also was restored between 2006 and 2009. The casino is used as a private club, however, it is open for visitors as well. The Real Casino is home to one of the highest visited tourist attractions in Murcia.


3. Plaza Cardenal Belluga
The Plaza Cardenal Belluga is a lovely place to just sit at and enjoy people watching. There are a number of bars and cafes around the historic plaza. It is a pleasant activity to sit at one of these bars and cafes and enjoy watching people going about their regular activities. The cafes are quite nice and the environment around the plaza is very relaxing. The plaza is very close to the Cathedral de Santa Maria.

4. Mar Menor
Mar Menor is a watersports playground. It offers a variety of watersports like scuba diving, surfing, sailing, powerboating, and lot more. Mar Menor is a happening place that attracts people of all ages equally. There are lots of cafes and restaurants around. The views of the coast are very beautiful. It is a very popular destination and gets quite crowded at times. You can even enjoy a picnic.


5. Museo Salzillo
Museo Salzillo is a museum dedicated to the works of the famous sculptor Francisco Salzillo. The sculptors presented at the museum belong to the 18th century. The guides at the museum are very knowledgeable and provide a lot of information regarding the exhibits. You can also opt to watch the museum on your own. The exhibits are very interesting and impressive even without the description provided by a guide. The statues displayed at the museum are amazing, simply because the presentation of the details is simply stunning. Salzillo was a master of his art and witnessing his masterpieces is an unforgettable experience.
