Zaragoza offers a variety of attractions and activities to both tourists and locals alike. Here are the top 5 things to do in Zaragoza, Spain:

1. Monasterio de Piedra Park
Monasterio de Piedra Park has a number of attractions like lakes, waterfalls, caves, greenery, etc. to make it a very beautiful spot worth a visit. Walking around the park and through the caves is a great experience. The beautiful views and serene environment adds to the appeal of the park. The greenery at the park provides visitors with a peace to mind and pleasure to senses.

2. Palacio de la Aljaferia
Palacio de la Aljaferia is a palace since the 11th century. The building has a rich history since it has been used by a number of kings. The palace is very attractive owing to its unique architecture and the beautiful gardens. The palace is enormous and offers a lot to be seen. Some parts of the building are used by the regional parliament of Aragon.

3. La Seo del Salvador
La Seo del Salvador is a cathedral that includes 20 chapels belonging to different styles. The interiors are wonderful where all the details have been taken nice care of. It is quite spacious and never feels crowded despite that a number of tourists visit there. It was built as early as 1316 and, hence, has a great historical significance as well. The church has been declared as a world heritage site by UNESCO. The exteriors as well as the interiors have been designed in a wonderful manner. The interior of the church can be seen at its best during the morning when lots of light enters through the enormous windows. The cathedral houses a great collection of religious art. There also is a very impressive Tapestry Museum at the church.

4. Museo Pablo Gargalio
Museo Pablo Gargallo features the works of the sculptor Pablo Gargallo. The museum is located in a Renaissance palace, which adds to the value of the museum. Different works of Pablo have been arranged over four stories in a very appealing fashion. The sculptures and drawings displayed are exceptionally interesting. The architecture of the museum also gets featured in the tours.

5. Calle Alfonso
Calle Alfonso is a wonderful street that offers a variety of options to enjoy yourself. The views around the street are wonderful. The shops are very nice and provide a great chance to enjoy shopping. The presentation at the shops is wonderful to make the street very suitable for window shopping as well. There are very nice restaurants, cafes and bars as well to make your shopping experience even more exciting, comfortable and enjoyable.

      I'd never heard of Zaragoza, and I read this article simply because the name is so wonderful. It sounds like a city with delightful charm and wonderful history. I hope I make it someday! If I do, I'll know where to go and what to see!
