Trolley Hop
Looking to take in a little art and some one-of-a-kind shopping? If you’re not too busy on the first Friday of every month, Louisville offers a delightful night out through the Trolley Hop project. The Trolley Hop is a night of riding the free trolley service that is provided and going from gallery to gallery checking out works of art created by local artists. More than 15 galleries are along the trolley’s route. Many galleries may also offer a welcoming glass of wine to greet you as you walk in. (Is there a theme here?) Along with enjoying the many galleries, there are also over 20 shops carrying the perfect, unique find that you won’t often find at the local Wal-mart.
While you’re down there also check out the many wonderful restaurants with their tasty menu selections littering the route of the Trolley Hop. Hours can literally be spent during this event. From 5-11 you can enjoy the free service of the trolley but keep in mind some galleries may close at 9, leaving the rest of the night to only shops and restaurants for patrons to peruse. So get out and enjoy a nice night out with friends, family or a night alone. It’s definitely a nice way to get out of the house and mingle as a single with others and discuss art and your cool find!

Louisville Horse Trams
I know, I know, horse drawn carriages can be so cliché but why are they so darn romantic? Even if you just want to get a bunch of friends together and hit up the town horse-drawn-carriage-style, this can still be a way to have a fun night out in Louisville. Try a carriage that can host up to 18 people on for size and you're talking a mondo party and plenty of dancing in the streets! Okay, maybe no dancing will be had but it's still a pretty cool thing to do when up against sitting at home and doing a whole bunch of nothing. These Horse Trams can provide you with a taxi service to downtown restaurants, city tours and a shuttle service for the sights in the downtown Louisville area. Not to mention these trams can be booked for special occasions.
