Overview
Regarded as one of the most livable cities in Vietnam, Da Nang - the coastal city on Central Vietnam captivates visitors round the world with its exceptionally beautiful scenery and a hospitable climate. Traveling to Da Nang, therefore, will promisingly bring forth plenty of unforgettable memories for any travelers.
Such a wonderful coastal city!
When it comes to Da Nang, there comes a scenic picture of a peaceful city with fresh air, clean turquoise blue ocean that is embraced by white sandy beaches shining brilliantly under the sun. This city is also renowned under other intimate nicknames, such as “Kingdom of beaches” or “Happy Coastal City”. With heaps of magnificent beaches, among which My Khe has been proudly ranked one of the top 6 most attractive beaches on the planet by Forbes, the leading American economic journal, other spectacular beaches include Pham Van Dong, Non Nuoc, North My An, Nam O, Thanh Binh.
Especially, along the road from Pham Van Dong Beach, you’ll pay a visit to Linh Ung Temple (Chùa Linh Ứng) where you’ll be rewarded with incredible views of the gorgeous sun-drenched beach. Additionally, you may travel to other famous tourist destinations within Quang Nam Province, typically among which Hoi An Ancient Town stands out vividly. Taking a 30 minute ride on motorbike from the downtown of Da Nang, passing Ngu Hanh Son mountains, you’ll wind up pottering around the lantern town in Hoi An.

Discovering the city's civilization and tranquility
In addition to wondrous coastal scenery and loads of interesting sports in the sea, many other options come along with a heap of 'must-see' destinations in Da Nang, including Ba Na Hills, Asia Park with the top-ten-largest-worldwide Sun Wheel, Helio Center, or artificial waterfall sliding, and so on. With those attractions, Da Nang is an excellent location for any visitors of all ages and from all walks of life, for instance, from backpackers to families to flock there for their restful and cheerful vacations.
It's supremely beautiful, isn't it?
Superb Cuisine
As a coastal city in the middle of Vietnam, Da Nang highlights a superb and subtle cuisine mixture of many different regions across the country. Specifically, it's a moderate combination of a highly spiced taste of Hue’s and a salty flavor of ocean salt with a sophisticated style of dressing, all together featuring a pleasant and distinctive essence of the local cuisine. Coming there, you must enjoy bun cha ca (fish cake noodle soup) and other noodles with various fish. And what’s else? Cau Mong rare beef (bê thui Cầu Mống), Quang noodle (mì Quảng) and snail escargot (ốc hút or spicy trap-door snails) are other local delicacies that you’ll never find the same fantastic taste elsewhere as you have there in the city.

Hey, my beloved bro!, how about you recently?
I've never been there before, but I think I found a reason to go now. Thanks buddy. I'm reading all of your writings, they're useful.
I was in Danang a few years back when Air Asia flew to this historic town, but i did'nt spent much time here as our group was heading for Hoi Ann and Hue. Great photos and well written travelogue!
