1 Zambia

Zambia is a country in the heart of Africa. Zambia is one of the safest countries to visit on the continent of Africa. Zambia also holds the beautiful natural wonder "Victoria Falls." "Victoria's Fall" is truly awe inspiring and more than enough reason to visit Zambia. However, Zambia also holds many other things. Visitors to Zambia will learn about a whole other kind of living. People of Zambia are so peaceful and welcoming, its hard not to learn a lot of respect and life lessons when talking with citizens of Zambia.

Also, while in Zambia you will have the opportunity of seeing large wild animals (Hippo, Crocodile, Giraffe, African Elephant, Lions, etc..) in their natural habitat. Zambia also has a lot of adventurous things to try to such as walking with the lions, elephant guided safaris, white water rafting, river boating, bungee jumping, and hand gliding.

One last thing worth mentioning about Zambia is its perfect balance of developed and undeveloped lands. For visitors who do not like roughing it, there are beautiful five star hotels that visitors can stay in, but for visitors that want to learn about the culture, they simply have to drive outside their hotel for a few miles and visitors can see how the people of Zambia are truly living.

# 2 Egypt

Located in the North Eastern part of Africa, Egypt has recently been in the news for multiple negative reasons. In 2011, Egypt faced a terrible revolution that made it very difficult and scary for tourist to visit the country. However, since 2011 the government has lowered the warning level in Egypt from a travel warning to a travel alert. Egypt isn't as safe as most other countries and it is a risk each individual has to ask themselves if they are will to take or not. Overall as long as you stay with a group or tour group things go fairly smoothly in Egypt. Women visiting Egypt should make sure that they dress conservatively, not wearing shorts, skirts, or sleeveless shirts. If you do choose to visit Egypt it will be unlike anything you have ever experienced in the your lifetime. It's so different from any other county you have probably visited. Of course everyone knows about the pyramids, but there are many more places to visit such as The Valley of the Kings, The Nile River, the coral reef in Ras Muhammad, Sharm el-Sheik, and of course Cairo.

The Coliseum

Venice

# 3 Italy

Italy is the number 3 place to visit because of all the history the country has to offer. If you haven't stood in front of the Leaning Tower of Pisa or walked inside the Coliseum you haven't lived. Italy offers the opportunity to step back in history. The many ancient buildings bring visitors to a time they were not a part of. Visitors can make a wish in the Trevi Fountain, walk through the ruins of Pompeii, or ride a gondola in Venice. But don't forget to visit Italy's "Sleeping Beauty" village in Mantua. This village is often overlooked but it has literally been untouched for hundreds of years If you want to feel as if you are living in another time, this is the place to do it. Mantua has not been touch by any type of urban development, you will definitely not find a McDonalds here. This small village has literally been closed off from the outside world for hundreds of year and remains unchanged.

Italy has so much to offer in natural beauty and man made beauty that it is a must see on anyone's travel list. You do not want to skip this gem.

# 4 Antarctica

Some people may say Antarctica!! Why would anyone want to visit Antarctica? Yes, it is extremely cold, but if you are a person that truly wants to see what the world has to offer it is a must see. I promise it will be unlike anything you can possibly imagine in your mind. In past years Antarctica has become more accessible to travelers. There are now expeditions that travel to Antarctica and certain cruises that travel to our southern most continent.

Antarctica offers a variety of animal life viewing such as penguins, whales, seals, polar bears, etc.. However, the wildlife is not the only thing worth seeing. The natural beauty in Antarctica is indescribable. The ice bergs them selves could take up hundreds of pages in my photo albums with their beauty and colors. You may be able to walk with hundreds of penguins just feet away from you or kayak through this beautiful land. Don't let the cold air or thought of high prices keep you away from one of the most unique and beautiful destinations in the world.

# 8 Ireland

The Emerald Isle and boy does it live up to its name. This beautiful country is the prettiest green you will ever see in your life. Covered with rolling and hills and coastal cliffs, Ireland's beauty is unmatched. There are many places to see in Ireland, some of them hidden away from most busy places. Throughout the country are hundreds of castles, some more popular than others. All of them equally interesting and fun to explore. If visiting Ireland there are a few places that you definetly do not want to miss the biggest and most important place being The Cliff of Moher. You will never see a view like the one on The Cliffs of Moher, if you are looking for the one place that is guaranteed to take your breath away, you have discovered it at The Cliffs of Moher. Other must see places are the Rock of Cashel (a well preserved castle), The Aran Islands, Connemara National Park, Galway, and Dongagal Bay.

Greece has been included on this list for its important ancient history and natural beauty. Greece holds a number of beautiful islands, each one having their own beauty and attractions. Such as Santorini with its white washed cliff side homes and Mykonos which features the beautiful Mykonos wind mills. If visiting Greece there are a few stops you should make along the way with the Acropolis being at the top, followed by the Parthenon. After you have seen the rest of Athens be sure to make a stop at Delphi to see Mount Parnassus, and of course the Greek Beaches! Plus you want to make sure to visit the first two islands mentioned Santorini and Mykonos.

I have a friend that moved to Italy and she loves it there. I want to visit Italy, Ireland and New Zealand before I die. They all look amazing and beautiful. I also wouldn't mind Bora Bora. This was a great list. I really enjoyed this hub. Great work.
