1. Red Fort

There isn’t any doubt that the Red Fort is the first thing on the to do list of any traveler. Made of red stone and marbles, is was the first fort made by Mughal emperor Shahjahan in the year 1639, and is among the most famous historical places in the country.


2. Qutub Minar

Built in 1193 by Qutub-ud-Din Aibak, this 73-meter tower was built for celebrating the dominance of Muslims in Delhi after overthrowing Delhi’s last Hindu ruler. Qutub Minar is the highest tower in the country, comprising of five storeys and balconies.


3. India Gate

The national monument of India, India Gate was built in the memories of Indian and British-Indian soldiers who during the World War- I lost their lives saving the reputation of the mighty Empire. India Gate has a very pleasant area well surrounded by lush green lawns.
