Top 10 Place to Visit in INDIA

Here I am going to describe the top 10 travel destinations to travel in India. This travel guide is a list based on my own experience and knowledge. I tried to cover natural beauty, structural beauty as well as a national park too.

As per my travel guide, here is my top 10 destination to travel to India are:

1) Taj Mahal (Structural Beauty)

2) The Golden Temple (Structural Beauty)

3) Kerala Backwaters (Natural Beauty)

4) The Great Rann of Kutch (Desert Beauty)

5) Munnar (Natural beauty)

6) Goa (Beaches)

7) Kanha National Park (Wildlife)

8) Ajanta Caves (Historical structural)

9) Kashmir (Mountains, Paradise on Earth)

10) Kanyakumari (Location, Waterbody)

1. Taj Mahal

Who doesn't know about Tajmahal? It is one of the seven wonders of the world. If you are planning to travel to India, the Taj Mahal should be the first in the travel guide.

Taj Mahal is the sign of eternal love. For centuries, the Taj Mahal stood bright and shining proving the strength of love. Taj Mahal Literally means "Crown of Palaces" in Urdu. It is a beautiful mausoleum created by white marbles. Taj Mahal built in 1653 by Mughal emperor Shah Jahan in the memory of his wife Mumtaz.

Taj Mahal's white stone looks even more beautiful in the cool moonlight at night.

Golden Temple is a formal name of The Harmandir Sahib Darbar Sahib gurudwara. It is situated in Amritsar, Punjab. It was built in 16th century by Sikh Guru, Guru Arjan. Maharajah Ranjit Singh covered the upper floors of Gurudwara with Gold. It gives the Gurudwara a unique look and that's how it is known as The Golden Temple.

It is beautiful. It should be on your list of travel to India because you can not see a gold structure anywhere else.

3. Kerala Backwaters

Kerala Backwaters are a channel of lakes in Kerala. Kerala is a southwest state of India. The backwater is naturally created by water waves and shores. The backwater is beautiful and there is a lot of natural scenery on it. Boathouse on the backwater is one of the main tourist attractions. Tourist can stay on a houseboat and can enjoy the beauty of nature. If you are planning to have a romantic getaway, Kerala Backwater should be on your travel to India travel guide list.

4. Great Rann of Kutch

The Great Rann of Kutch is located in the Kutch of Gujarat state. Rann is a Hindi translation of desert. It comprises about 10000 square miles of area. It is a total pleasure to see the sunset and sunrise from the run. Camel safari in the full moonlight is wonderful.

If you like sunrise and sunset, Great Rann of Kutch should be on your travel to India list.

It is a hill station located in the western ghat in Kerala state. It is known for its natural beauty and tea gardens. Lush green hills and mountains with river make this place beautiful. Moreover, You can see elephants here on hills! Tea gardens on hills are also one of the many attractions in Munnar.

6. Goa

Goa is a western state of India. Its culture is been heavily influenced by Portuguese. Beaches are the top attractions in Goa. Goa is known as one of the top locations to visit in summer time. It is famous in foreigners as well. Casinos in Goa is also one of the attractions for many visitors.

This is one of the must-have destinations on your travel to India travel guide list if you love beaches.

7. Kanha National Park

It is the beautiful national park of India. It is located in central India. It is the best place to have a look of Asian tigers. It is known for its bamboo forests and ravines. This national park possesses many of the rare wildlife animals such as Tigers, deer, spotted deer, the gaur, barasingha, humans, sloth bears, peacocks, golden jackal, brown fish owl and hawk eagles.

8. Ajanta Caves

Ajanta caves formatted from rock mountains in India. These caves were almost forgotten until one British hunting team accidentally found them. These caves are beautiful with some great paintings and carving idols. Ellora caves also have the same history which is located nearby. Both Ajanta and Ellora caves are located near Aurangabad city.

9. Kashmir

Kashmir is a heaven on earth. It is an also have destination according to my India travel guide. It considers being one of the beautiful places on the earth. Kashmir's snow-covered mountain peaks, waterfalls, flower gardens and lush green valleys make it a paradise on the earth. There are many places in Kashmir to visit such as Gulmarg, Pari Mahal, Dal Lake, Pahalgam and many more.

10. Kanyakumari

Kanyakumari located at the southmost tip of India. Here three huge water bodies meet. The Arabian Sea, Bay of Bengal and the Indian Ocean meet here. On the south side, you can see the amazing horizon. Watching sunset here is spectacular here. Settling sun in water horizon makes an amazing scene.
