Union Station is a treasure often overlooked by travelers. While bus transportation might not always be one's first choice, some lines can actually be quite enjoyable and affordable.

As always, you should research each line and route, and prioritize which amenities are most important for you--newly renovated bus lines, such as Megabus, may cost an extra few dollars over other lines, but may include additional comforts such as outlets and WiFi access.
