This Park and Garden is open to the public and free of charge. The Untermyer Park Conservatory in partnership with the City of Yonkers is in the process of restoring this park to it's former glory.

The Estate of Samuel Untermyer was donated to the City of Yonkers in 1946 consisting about 43 acres that borders a hiking trail (part of the Old Croton Aqueduct). It overlooks the Hudson River and across from the Palisades. The Park/Garden consists of a Rock Garden with a newly renovated waterfall. A main garden with flowers and water fountain with koi fish. There are various lookout gazebos and a vast lawn for picnic and relaxation.

There is limited parking from the front entrance along North Broadway. However, you can walk to the back entrance via the Old Croton Aqueduct. You can get there by Metro North Train from NYC at the Greystone station.

During the 1970s, the Son of Sam shootings, it was rumored that a satanic cult hung out at the site at night. With the current ongoing restoration efforts, it is a wonderful place for families.
