What's better than the bay area. Warm weather, many attractions, and sandy beaches make San Francisco a popular vacation destination. Go site seeing, go on a Segway tour, visit the Golden Gate Bridge, go to Alcatraz Island, or maybe even go see a sports game. If you're looking for warmth and a good time, San Francisco is the place to go.

Personal opinion: No I haven't ever been to San Francisco, but I have had friends go there before, and they loved it. So much to do and see, and coming from a cold weather state like Michigan, the warm weather seems amazing in the winter. Going to San Francisco is something that I have put on my bucket list, and is something that I must do before I die, and you should too.

If you have the ability to do so, go visit the beautiful island nations of Hawaii. If you enjoy being on warm beaches with the sun in your face and your feet in the water, then Hawaii is a place for you. Whether you like surfing, snorkeling, scuba diving, exploring the nature, volcano seeing, or again, being in a warm climate, than Hawaii is the place to go. Its beauty is second to none, and just a great place to go visit.

If you have young ones, or just want to go see the attractions that disney world has to offer, then go check it out. Kids will love being in the amusement parks or water parks, and adults will love it to. Many different kinds of entertainment, and many things to do, and your kids will absolutely love it!

Personal experience- I went to Disney World with my family when I was about 8, and it was a blast. For a young kid, the attractions and entertainment blows your mind, as there is always something to do. If you and your family of young ones are looking for a vacation spot, then I recommend going to Disney World.

If your the type of person who loves the winter activities like skiing and snowmobiling, or maybe you want to go see the beauty of nature in wintertime if you're coming from a warn weather climate and have never seen snow before, then these places may just be for you.

With steaming geysers, multicolored pools, bubbling hot springs and hiking trails that go for days, Yellowstone is a must visit place. If you're an outdoorsman or just someone who loves the nature, then the breath taking views that Yellowstone has, and the variety of wild animals that you'll encounter are absolutely worth the visit.

Personal experience- My dad went to Yellowstone a few years ago on a snowmobiling trip with some colleagues, and he absolutely loved it, claiming it was one of the best experiences of his life. He got to view the breath taking views that Yellowstone has to offer, encountered animals like a herd of buffalo, and did it all while on a snowmobile!

Yes, Alaska! Although it's very far away, Alaska is home to some of the most beautiful, breath taking views in nature. If you want to get away from the city life and just enjoy and appreciate nature, then Alaska ids the place to go. Go see Alaskan wildlife, visit the huge glaciers, go hiking on one of Alaska's many mountains, and even go see the northern aurora. Alaska is known as the "Last Frontier" for a reason, as it's one of the few places that hasn't been taken over by big cities.

In the winter New York may be a little cold, but come summer time, New York is a must visit place. With so many attractions and so many things to do, New York is a great place to be. Whether you want to go site seeing, shopping, catch a sports game, go see a broadway, or just enjoy and take in the big city that never sleeps, New York provides it all.

Personal experience- I have been to New York before and it was great. Went to Times Square, got to see the Statue of Liberty, and even though I usually don't enjoy shopping, the big malls and many stores were fun to check out.

My personal favorite vacation that I have ever been able to go on was a cruise. I have been on 3 cruises in my lifetime, and I absolutely loved each one. The boat is like a big city, as there's so much entertainment, shows, activities, and best of all, free food! Also, the ports are awesome. On each of my 3 cruises I went to the Bahamas, which was a great experience. The executions on the islands were so much fun. If you and your family are looking for a vacation to go on and want to have a great time where there are no phones or work, then a cruise is for you!
