Edelweiss Chocolate Factory

Edelweiss Chocolates are well known in Hollywood as the chocolates for the stars they can be commonly found in dressing rooms of the biggest stars, offices of the most acclaimed producers and directors, and boardrooms of the largest companies in America. They have a store in Hollywood where visitor and tourists can try this famous chocolate for themselves and take some home.


Sprinkles Cupcake ATM

If you are in Beverly Hill the Sprinkles Cupcake ATM is a must see. The ATM is located between Sprinkles Cupcakes and Sprinkles Ice Cream. The ATM is continuously restocked day and night with fresh cupcakes, cookies, and cupcakes for dogs.

Greystone Mansion

Greystone Mansion, also known as the Doheny Mansion, is a Tudor-style mansion on a landscaped estate with distinctive formal English gardens. The Mansion has been used as a filming ground for well over 100 movies and TV shows such as Ghost-busters, The Body Guard, and Star Trek: Into Darkness. The Mansion and grounds are typically open to the public between 10 am and 5 pm disregarding when the mansion has been rented for a private event. Admission is free and there is no charge for parking either.

Universal Studios Hollywood

Universal Studios Hollywood is much like its counter part in Orlando Florida; both have many of the same rides, but the Hollywood one is known for its unique Super Silly Fun Land. Super Silly Fun Land is an interactive Minion-inspired carnival straight form “Despicable Me" with over 80 different water and land features such as: “Silly Swirly Fun Ride" and “Super Silly Space Killer” arcade game. Guest have the opportunity to win their very own (“It’s so fluffy!”) unicorn.

Grauman's Chinese Theatre

Grauman's Chinese Theatre is not only a great place if you are looking to catch a movie, but also a terrific place to take in the sight of around 200 Hollywood stars footprints/hand prints. If you are in to the celebrity scenes then this is a must see for you.

Amoeba Music

Amoeba Music is the largest independent record store in the US; they sell CD's DVD's, and records. The store occupies an entire city block, it boasts the biggest, broadest, most diverse collection of music and movies ever seen on under one roof. The store has two flours and a jazz room with millions of CD's, DVD's and vinyl with a fast changing stock.

Hollywood Sign

The first thing to know about the Hollywood Sign is that it is unfortunately illegal to hike up to it. However it is possible to get a good picture of the sign from the Griffith Park Observatory and at Hollywood and Highland.

Getty Center

The Getty Center is a giant museum and research center with the museum available to the public with free admission. To actually get to the Getty Center one has to ride an electric tram up from the parking lot. Once up top one is able to see just how big the museum and gardens are.

The Original Farmers Market

The Original Farmers Market was sup in 1934 and since then it's expanded from selling fresh produce to offering international culinary experiences from a vast range of stalls and cafes. Almost every type of food is available at the Market: ice cream, pies, fresh fruit and vegetables, all types of meat, poultry, bakery items, sea food, as well as stands dedicated to food from other cultures, and even specialty dog biscuits.
