Where Am I Anyway?

Updated on August 5, 2012

I am certainly not a world traveler by any means, but I have been a few places. I was going through some of my old travel pictures the other day and decided to share some with you. Just to make it a little more interesting, I have added a poll after each one. It's up to you to decide the location of each pic. Just to be a help I have included the correct location at the bottom of the page - but no peeking until you have finished.

I have always been a fan of lighthouses.Unfortunately I can not take credit for this pic. My daughter took it. The view is absolutely gorgeous though so I decided to include it.

Right behind lighthouses is my love for sunsets. As of now, I am the only one that knows for sure where this sunset was located. Where do you think?

Water scenes are among my favorites. This place was absolutely breathtaking. Wish you could have been there!

This represents a wonderful day of searching for God's gentle creatures - the whale. They are magnificent animals.

This has to be one of the most oddly shaped mountains in the world. My only question is - where is it?

Well, how well did you do? The correct answers are as follows:

1. Hawaii
2. Pennsylvania
3. Alaska
4. New Hampshire
5. Tennessee.

I hope you enjoyed my little tour. Maybe I will share some more later.

Very nice lifegate, but I can't see Pennsylvania for the sunset. That means looking west or southwest into Lake Erie??? Anyways I voted this up, beautiful and interesting.

      Samsons,

Good to see you friend. Yes, it is Lake Erie. Some of the most beautiful sunsets I have ever seen are at this very place. Thanks for stopping by and for the vote.

Beautiful photography...simply breathtaking. It's interesting how some landscapes and mountain views are similar. I was wrong on the last photo: Tennessee.

      Hi Cristina,

The US is a very beautiful country indeed with lots of diversity. I've not seen it all, but I do enjoy the parts God allows me to see. Thanks for stopping by. It's always good to hear from you.

      Aaron,

Glad you had some fun. The best place I've ever been was Alaska. Pictures just don't express the beauty of the land - not that the other places weren't beautiful, too. Thanks for the visit and the guessing.

lifegate wow fun hub of love. The pictures are beautiful. Very clever indeed. Thank yor for sharing a bit more of your journey with us lifegate. I got 4 right. I missed the Maine picture. Look like most missed the maine photo. Anyway wish I was where? You guess out of your pictures above where would I choose? OK time is up. I will skip down a few lines.

Hawaii would be my choice. Although all of the above I would be thrilled to pack my bags. Glory to God and Amen for HIS most beautiful creation. Heaven looks better with age. Do you agree? God Bless you and yours my brother. I lift you all in prayer and in the love of Christ Jesus. Your sista sends a hug.

I thought hubs were only to read and write. I feel this is a more interactive hub. I have always been a fan and participant of brain teasers and puzzles. So this is a good mental exercise to help us stay sharp. Thank you.

      Hey Sista,

Somehow I missed your comment earlier. But I always look forward to your visits. Which picture of Maine were you referring to? And yes I agree, Heaven looks a lot better with age. Glad you were able to stop by. Have a wonderful night! :)

Hey Bro OK I will rephrase that answer. It is your Alaska picture I guessed wrong, I guessed Maine. I have not been to Alaska but I have heard from many it is absolutely spectacular and magnificent!! But of course Jehovah Jireh is the designer, Amen! One day perhaps I will get there. Hope so. Hugs to you bro. Your sista.

Alaska is absolutely the most beautiful place on earth - well, that's my opinion. If you get a chance to go, take it. You won't be sorry- Promise!
