      Voted up and useful!

I too live in the Chicagoland area. For those who either live here or have plans to visit sometimes it's fun to be a "tourist" for day.

You might consider purchasing a Chicago CityPASS‎ which gives you access to 5 attractions at 50% off savings when compared to regular box office pricing. One might also simply enjoy taking a stroll down Michigan Ave. or Navy Pier shopping and dining. A Wendella Boat tour is something else to consider if it's not too cold. :)

Having cocktails in the Signature Lounge at the top of the John Hancock building overlooking the city and Lake Shore Drive can be nice too!
