Have you ever been at a place in your life, where the river meets the ocean?

I did not realize how many places there are, where the river literally runs into the ocean:) So I did a little research, and thought I'd share some of these places with you. To tell you the truth, I really never thought about this concept...let alone that it is a factual reality!

Looking at these video's, with the river running into the sea, kinda messes with your brain just a little. Seeing the ocean and the sea, flowing towards each definitely not a sight most people see, just everyday! My brain wants to tell me, this does not compute, that my equilibrium should be off, and I should be holding onto something! The reality and the thought of never seeing this, comes to a crossroad...that was never there before. WOW! It is so awesome:)

There is so much beauty in this world, that we could never see...even if we were, a world class traveler? How refreshed I feel, when I spend time by the river or the sea! I know you do too, what a blessing it is to renew our being with such beauty from the heavens:) Like a little piece of paradise, we have here on earth! Even using our other senses, to hear the movement of the water, and feel the ocean breeze:) To dip your toe or wade in the cool fresh water...the whole experience is soothing and cleansing to the soul!

Let the river run, and the ocean floor move, as the blue waters reflect the sun! Soak it all up, enjoy the warmth of this time, for it will tingle your soul:) We are so blessed to be able to be near these elements when we choose, I think about people who live in the desert...what they are missing out on. I know many love the desert and say it is beautiful too! Not knocking anyone place of beauty, just for me...I like to see some water and some green, and the seasons change:)

I never knew of this song I found from John Denver, the words and the music are quite beautiful! The video at the bottom, also was found by asking about the river running into the sea. Yet this video has no pictures of the river running, but is a picture of how life flows.

This hub, is one of those that a picture speaks a thousand words! I hope you enjoy the pictures and the video presentations. When you get a chance try to find a river flowing into the ocean nearest to your state or city:)

Living so close to the Mississippi River when I was young, I am very fond of her.I lived two blocks from the Natchez,MS Bridge that spanned and joined Louisiana and Mississippi.Riverboats, including the Delta Queen, docked there, and you could here the music at night.I wish I had known when I was small where that river joined the Gulf of Mexico. I thought it was so cool when I learned that in the 4th grade!

Very cool Heart! I love the sounds of the wind and the ocean together. When we lived on St. Simons, GA there is a part of the beach that I think it's the Frederica river flows along parallel to the ocean and then it meets, it so strange to go from fresh water to salt. I so love water, period! Thanks for a great and fun hub.
